Caller: Mollie Baker from National Search A technique often used is where scammers will lie about what has been said on the phone, to discredit or trick you or your staff. This is a current trend we are seeing, where scammers will send through what seems to be legitimate looking paperwork, but they will follow up with a phone call in which they will lie about what it actually means. Their phone conversation can never be traced, but the paperwork you sign can be.

Caller: Athena Liakos from Australia's Telephone Pages This individual is operating a scam. She convinces you that you have a listing then sends paperwork for signature. If you refuse to sign she phones you using at least 2 different landline numbers and at least 5 different mobile numbers. She even uses private caller. If you do sign and send it back you receive an invoice. If it's not paid you are again bombarded until you relent. I have refused to take her calls and no longer respond to email messages. I have threatened her with reporting to ASIC, the Office of Fair Trading and the CCC. I also stated I would take with my solicitor. She still calls.
