I have a list of 20+ of these numbers, mostly from (apparently) Australia, but several from overseas as well. At first l used to pick up and say hello, then ignoring, then a shrill whistle. After several calls l started to ring some back, and either the number was disconnected or there was a message that l had reached APPLE CHARITY FUNDRAISERS, no option to leave a message. After their 3rd attempt today l picked up and yelled "f### O## and remove my number from your calling list". Next time l'm going to play a little game of my own with THEM! My number is on the DNC Register, but obviously these clown can circumvent the 'telemarketer' status. They are more sinister than telemarketers, the whole thing screams SCAM. Also, Apple has no affiliation with these scumbags. Wish l was with Telstra, but l'm not, so can't get one of those phones. They sound great. Thanks for reading and beware!

They rang me & as I have caller ID & it was a Qld (I'm in NSW) phone number I didn't answer as I thought it might be some form of nuisance/telemarketing call. They hung up when the answering machine had finished its message.

Fed up of this number (and their various extensions all starting with 5657) calling.

Calls my Telstra mobile phone at least a few times each month. I never answer them, they seem to also originate from (07) 5657 0893 also. Annoyance phone calls.

Said she was from a charity for Children's Cancer.....

This number is a nuisance caller. It has rung my number every half hour during business hours for the past 4 days

If you use a landline phone, buy one will a talking ID and a caller barred facility. Let all unrecognised calls go through to the answering machine; if no message is left just ignore. Check all doubtful numbers by simply typing the number into Google or whatever you use. If the number is listed as adverse, add it to your caller barred list. I have not had a pest call of any kind for over 2 years. Avoid giving your mobile or landline numbers out to any tempting competitions or surveys. When you come up against a form which lists a phone number as mandatory, beware! Stop, think and make a judgement decision.

Call centre on behalf of the Heart Foundation looking for volunteers to do a door-knock-appeal in the street they live in.

just got a call on my mobile at work from this mob. It is the Apple group calling on behalf of seeing eye dogs. Asked not to call on this (my mobile) number as I am at work. Have duly blocked this number too. Seems my blocked number list is growing by the week.

Not if it's a charity, they are exempt as are market research companies.

Just received a call from this number, I did not answer, number is now entered in my call blocker.

I recieved a call from this number and when I answer they said "screwed" and hung up. At least now I know who called me and hung up.

Third day in a row this alleged fund raiser has called and hung up as I spoke on the phone.

Telemarketer for charity fundraiser.

The rapacious Heart Foundation are really annoying, calling at least twice per week. I usually donate by post or interweb but they can just go away.

This number calls me and hangs up with no-one speaking.
