Robot voice telling you that you will be arrested if you dont call them back and give them your bank details to settle a debt. SA Police have issued a warning on this scam

A robot voice left a voicemail about issuing an arrest warrant if I didn't call back. I did and no one answered. I read a news article the next day about a scam going around doing this exact thing trying to get money from people. don't answer or call back.

Electronic voice claiming I have arrest warrant about to be made against me.

Robot voice telling me I had a law suit filed against me and to call a different number back or else they were going to have to issue a warrant for my arrest.

No message left and call drops after 1x ring when calling back.

Asking if .... is my name, I reply as YES. Than a recording that it’s Aust Tax Office advising me that I have a warrant for my arrest and if I don’t call this number to confirm it’s me than an officer will be attending to arrest me ... I call them back and they ask who I am.. I tell them (they didn’t ask for spelling) - I got suspicious and I tell them.. than they tell me it’s the ATO and I have been investigated for fraud ... I didn’t believe and they hang up. Now they are not answering my calls.

I rang once and got disconnected

No name given but left message that they were issuing an arrest warrant if I did not return the call
