Caller claim they were Brisbane City Council. I questioned what department - they hung up.

Call came on mobile which I "answered", covered the mic, turned on the speaker and said nothing. Male Indian-sounding voice said hello a couple of times then hung up. Have now blocked number. Call originated from Southport.

Caller claimed it was Australian Bureau of Statistics, knew my name & said she had a few questions. Told her I'd very recently completed the Sensis & didn't believe she was from ABS. She hung up.

Call and said they were Moreton Bay council. When I asked for more information they hung up

Said they were from Brisbane City Council - but number not within the Brisbane City Council area - when I questioned this, they swore at me and then hung up - very strong Indian accent .

Caller: Claimed to be calling from Goldcoast city council

They knew my name and wanted to do population survey in my area. I said I don’t want to and hung up.

Caller: Claimed to be Summerset Regional Council

Called knowing name, said they were from "Summerset Regional Council" Asked them their number, they replied saying "oh my god you're so stupid" then hung up.

Answered a call from this number and the female stated communication service;
then the line died.
