Received a phone call from this number today, after speaking to the supervisor I did manage to get a contact number for the companies reception (07) 5609 8500. Company Uses the name National Consumer Services, but its trading name is Austal Marketing Pty Ltd and is registered in Queensland

It's telemarketers along with (07) 5518 6713. They call a few times a day, never leave voicemail and you can't phone them back because it's an automatic dialer you get a disconnected response. I'm certain it's for Insurance but as frustrating as it is, just don't answer?

Call from this number, did not leave a message. When I tried to return the call, I got a "not available message", subsequent attempt to return the call received an "engaged" signal. I looked up this page and got your comments - thank you. I agree that it is unsolicited "marketing" practice.

National Consumer Services, spruiking Real Insurance. They get paid to refer you to an insurance consultant for a quote. When asked how they got my number, they said it was on an automatic dialer. Not 100% but a 1,000% scam.

Got that call as missed call message. Same result when calling back. What does TELSTRA do about it? Or rather why do they allow these people to annoy everyone?! TELSTRA should follow up on this scam!

This number called me several times over a period of 2 days so far. Also another similar number called me with the same outcome. Same story as most other that have commented; it never rings for long and then hangs up, or if I do answer in time it just hangs up straight away. I've never spoken to an actual person via this line.
To ring the number, all I get is a disconnected message.
If it was a legitimate business I assume they'd leave a voice mail- so I will not be answering these numbers again.

Its a scam dont answer every time you answer they get credit

This number has called me on my home and mobile number. Glad I thought to reverse it and found this page - I won't bother answering at all

This number calls me regularly. Have now blocked the calls on my phone. I still know they have called but it does not ring at all

Had several calls 2 weeks ago, they hang up as soon as I answer. Stopped and now another call today, stated Charlotte from National Consumer Services then hung up.

This number has rung 4 times now. This last time I answered and it was "consumer services Australia" . I'm not sure how they got me mobile but I just hung up. Its really annoying.

I believe that this is misleading conduct.

Received quite a few calls. No answer, no voice, no message. 'Number not connected' when called back.

This is yet another extension from National Consumer services. The ring from multiple numbers. It is telemarketing. Just hang up on them. They dont unsubscribe if asked.
