This number is local. I'm on the Do Not Call list. They are breaking the law. Why isn't something done. This number is also responsible for the endless 0488 828 337 and other combinations of 0488 800 .--- which are phoned every work day at least twice A DAY. Many complaints already listed for these numbers. Probably on an auto call (Robocall?) system. Once blocked the number goes to my answering machine which obviously their system recognises and terminates the call. The caller is wanting a real person. Suspect a scam to run up your costs per minute. The operator knowing the call was blocked then calls using the number above to get a person to respond on a land line. Not all landline phones have the ability to block a call as easily as
via mobiles. Best advice if you can't block, dont answer if you can see the number terminate immediately if you don't know the caller. Usually asks for a name you don't know. Answering questions could cost you heaps.....
