Caller: Amazon Prime (allegedly) Call received from this number initially automated message advising Amazon Prime. Pressed 1. Call went through to Indian accent advising my Amazon Prime subscription was cancelling and it would cost $40 to renew. Acted like I have a subscription (which I don't) and led her on. Requested information on usage of the service as "my kids use it - I want to make sure it's being used before I re-subscribe" and after a lot of fumbling and umming and arring, she eventually hung up.
The longer we keep them on the phone, the less time they have to scam less-suspecting people.
