OMFG these people from Accor (07) 5430 4000 need to stop calling, it's getting ridiculous! My number is not only private but is also listed on the "Do Not Call Register" ..... So I've told them that unless they want me to report them & them get a massive fine that they best stop calling me! Their response was to hang up on me but then have continued to call me everyday since, so i am now going to report them & I ask that everyone else please do that too so that something can actually be done about it. Thanks everyone 😊

They ring you at work and they don't seem to understand you have better things to do than talk to them for 10 - 15 mins while they do their spiel. Hopefully they don't ring back.

Ph: (07) 5430 4000, Accor Advantage called our work number but stated it was a personal invitation to me even though I am not the owner or manager. They advised I was nominated but I am pretty sure my friends would not give them my work number. I had to hang up as they would not take no for an answer.

I was called, asking if I was "John".
I politely informed them that they had the wrong number, they asked if I would please put "John" on, I repeated that there was no John in the vicinity, they sounded disappointed.

Its ACCOR accommodation club. I have been a member n the past but its not worth it unless you travel a lot for business etc.

Just ignore them they will go away.

I have had about 5 missed calls from this number in 1 day, so I rang them back and requested they take my number off there list. The very next day I had another two missed calls!! very annoying - I didn't even care to ask what they wanted to sell me.

Thankfully I didn't have my phone with me when they rang. I remember talking to them before and it's been a painful call.

This number keeps coming up every couple of days as a missed call. I believe they are hoping I will phone them back. After reading who they are I want nothing to do with them.

They called me once during a meeting. I tell them call back next week. They call back the next day, THREE TIMES?! I finally answer, they confuse me with a completely different 'customer' (victim) and start to talk about this other blokes life and career as if I am him. When I correct her, she hangs up.

THEN CALLS BACK A WEEK LATER?! I have blacklisted the number on my smartphone and get a text message everytime they call. I get about 4 text messages a week now telling me their call has been blocked...sweet subtle victory.

Mick, The do not call register is void if you have somehow been signed up to promotion material.

The biggest issue today is that all facebook apps ask for permission to share your data with 3rd party's this results in calls from tele marketers even if you are on the do not call register as they have legal waiving rights from you.

I got the call, and I am very suspicious, they want you to pay by credit card first and then they say they will send an email confirming all the promises. I pushed them to email with all the details first, but they wouldn't. Who in their right mind would part with credit card details to someone who rings you up out of the blue and won't confirm any details of what you are purchasing until you have paid!! I reckon it has to be a scam.

They have your number as someone you know has referred you to them as posibally being interested in their product. The referee gets a bottle of wine if you join. The accomodation membership is a good deal if you travel 2 -3 times per year and like nice hotels and eat food there. I would recommend it.

They have been trying to call several times but i just ignore them. Just the same way a dog barks, you ignore it and it will eventually stop.
