Received a call from this number threatening to have me arrested for tax fraud. Its a SCAM!!!!

Got a two calls from this number, I have been in contact with my phone carrier plus the ATO, they have put a trace on the number, both have told me that they will be letting the Federal Police know about this IT IS A SCAM, I have been told don't talk to the person just hang up

tax fraud scam - want you to call back the number for details. Sounded like a prerecorded message, american accent and the name benjamin franklin. Yeah right!

Tax fraud scam from this number .... call received at home from an American speaking voice recording. When I rand the phone back and asked how do I know that you are from the taxation office? the Indian person that answered the call hanged up straight away

Same message left on our answering machine from Officer Benjamin Franklin including the words a warrant for your arrest on top of other comments listed. So I called him back and let fire with a few choice words before he hung up.

Caller Franklin Benjamin called to tell us he was issuing a warrant for our arrest for tax fraud. Robotic sounding American voice. Obviously a few snags short of a barbie if he thinks we are falling for that rubbish.

Also had the same call today. What an idiot not calling back either

I received the same message on my answering machine on Friday. I've had this happen previously, but the text-to-speech software seems more sophisticated and less robotic-sounding this time round.

These people have been calling my elderly parents. They know it's a scam thank goodness, but it's still intimidating. The police can't do anything about it.

Just got the scam call too, about to have a warrant for my arrest because it is going to the the Federal Claim Courthouse (where?) for tax evasion. His name was officer Franklin Benjamin (back to front of the US slang for money) I really hope no vulnerable people fall for this!

My mother was just frightened by this prick. If I could get a hold of him I'd rip his eyes out

Received a call from them said they received a complaint in my name... and I have committed tax fraud..it will go to federal court... yeah right..... scam ........

Mine was much the same, but they wanted to know my lawyers details. Did not give it to them and requested a case file number and a return phone number. He has Indian speaking from a private number... Quite aggressive. Contacted tax office and reported.

I received a threat of arrest from autralia taxation department today and left a message behind. Such a scam.
