Caller type: Scam call

A lady with an access called claiming to be Telstra and offering a 40% discount off my bill. Sounded like a scam.

Location: Australia
The caller had a strong accent, possibly Filipino but was hard to tell.
He said he was from Telstra but took some time to connect which is typical of remote and overseas calls.
There was a lot of background noise typical of a call centre.
I didn't believe him and so hung up.
