Claimed to be calling from Commonwealth. Director of Public Prosecutions Headquarters is Queensland. Left no further meassge on my mobile

Call on February 8 2016. Claimed I would be prosecuted if I didn't ring back because of tax evasion. Called back fellow who said he was Xavier of DPP answered then he hung up.
Definitely a scam in my opinion.

Other scam from people alledging to be from the Tax Dept. Don't respond. Hang up. AND DON'T PAY THEM ANY MONEY.

Female automated robotic voice demanding call back this number or face legal action from the Queensland department of public prosecutions.

Recorded message left, similar to Tony's comment, saying I was being charged with tax evasion and local authorities would be notified if I didn't return their call. Called back later that night, 'number busy'. I have not evaded paying tax.
