Got a call from a anonymous number that was the Scam internet Telstra problems with you computer, then 14 minutes later this number called with a hang up.

Caller: Telstra Impersonator

Apparently I have a virus in my computer. Really? Do you even know what a floppy drive is?

Caller: Jack said he was from Telstra.

I believe a scammer is using this number so be careful
When I answered the landline phone he said he was calling from Telstra and there was an unsual amount of data being used on my internet connection.
I suggested he send me and email with the information so I could look at it. He said he had sent a number of emails and I hadn't responded. I told him I was having trouble hearing him and asked where he was calling from. He said he was calling from Melbourne. I told him I was having trouble hearing him and hung up again. He rang back and asked if the reception was any better. I then told him to ring back next week when I would be at home and hung up again. He rang again but I didn't answer.
I went on line and found the prefix 07 3870 is possibly from Toowong in Queensland.

He pretended to be from Telstra,saying i have a fault on my line and if i could switch on my computer and he would fix it. Could tell it was a scam as there was a lady talking in the background.
