Called saying she was calling on behalf of VERO about an insurance claim, but we have no relation to VERO and she would not give me any more information.

this seems to be a proxy number the insurance companies call through as my message was thru this number from shannons

too many options I would say don’t answer and don’t share your personal details with this one -

Said they were from GIO - asked me for personal details to identify myself before they could discuss the matter when I refused they hung up

Said that they were from the insurance company Apia. Asked for information about a family member and threatened to come to my house. Nasty people.

The called is AAMI insurance

It was a missed call. When I called the number I got a recorded message saying it was Suncorp Insurance, and they would call me back if necessary. I have no dealings with Suncorp.

These are Sydney-based private investigating agents who have offices around Australia, including Canberra and Queensland. They also will physically follow you. Beware.

Yep, it’s a scam do not give personal details they have tried to contact me about damage to my car that I claimed little did they know the damage was to someone else’s car and mine wasn’t damaged. Also no longer own that car.
