Did not bother answering, I just came to this site and saw the responses from others. This latest call is one of several from same number. So much for being listed on "do not call register!"

Insurance scam. Told me I had a car accident a year ago. Called them fraudster and hung up - husband then got a text message on his mobile from 0401 348 813 saying that "I don't like be hung up on. I report you scam."

Some legal/insurance scam. Accident claims assistance, said I involved in an accident in the last 12 month and asking if any other family member got involved in an accident. Hate it when people call and ask questions.

Insurance claim scam, had my old address (moved 2 years ago) said she got it from 'Australian Claims Authority'. Surely if they were a fair dinkum business, they would have done something about these scams years ago, or maybe they actually are soliciting for business.
