I get calls from this number at least 3 times a week asking me about a charity called "doctors without borders". Asking me if I was interested in a charity. I asked them to never call me again. The guy said "so you're not interested in saving lives?" I am absolutely shocked by his rudeness. I just hate being called every second day. I don't like being spammed.

(07) 3606 0825 rang me twice in same day not leaving a message on my mobile. the very next day I received a call from someone asking for a guy named Hunter. Told the bloke wrong number and he took the hint. No idea, lots of back ground noise like a busy call center or office but They did ask for someone else by First and last name. So I'm going to say Wrong number... but still it is some sort of marketer.

The charities and the regulators need to step up and deal with this issue. The reason we are constantly being called is that there are $ in it for both the charities and the marketing firms. What that means is that 1 in 10 calls are likely to result in a positive $ outcome. Sadly, many frail, elderly people are 'guilted' into offering 'a small donation' for a 'good cause' which they often can't afford. The telemarketers are also often being exploited with low pay which results in the multiple hang up calls and 'hello, hello' messages to demonstrate their productivity in order to get their meagre pay. Where's ADMA or whomever the Aus regulator is in all this? Apart from the nuisance value, even once you've blocked calls (mobile); when you're waiting for a critical call from a private or unknown number for results because you're in ill health yourself or because a loved one is in a serious condition in hospital or tragically dies; how does the regulator sanction these practices?
