Caller: Scamming Indian call centre

Do not answer calls from 07 3520 43xx. They fake Brisbane phone numbers. If you do answer, your number is then sold off to their network of overseas phishing scammers and you will be pestered for years.

They knew my maiden name. As soon as I said yes for my name, they hang up. When I rang back, the call does not go through. I have a feeling that they were just verifying the number because my data was leaked.

My voicemail announcement says leave a message or be marked as spam.

No message left and from other reports they owned up to being spam by not leaving a message.
