Hi, sorry I have no idea. I just got a call from this number today. I tried returning the call to tell them to get lost and it said the number was disconnected! On the phone to Telstra now asking them to block it. Cheers

Called. I could hear talking in the background and they then hung up.

Caller: scamer

They were pretending to say mp IP address was doing something dodgy, when I asked me what my IP address was they came up with something that was pretty random.

Claimed to want to check the security of my internet connection. I hung up and blocked

and they wonder why ....

Had a call from this number. Male strange voice said “hello”. I thought scam and hung up and then did research on this number. Thanks for all the feed back now I know for sure.

Sounding very convincing wanting to confirm my details to continue blocking scam calls. Ironic that it was also a scam itself. Took his time and was annoying not getting to the point of what he wanted. Some guy talking through something to make him sound English. Funny pauses as if he was typing what he wanted to say? Very sus so I just hung up. Anybody who has paid for a service to block scam callers could be taken in. I am now hanging up on people more often because my patience is wearing thin.

Much the same thing happened to me as with the previous comments, this guy knew my name and other personal details about me. He knew that we had overseas calls blocked and he was claiming that he could block the nuisance calls that are getting through. He was very persistent in wanting me to tell him when my credit card expired. After seeing the above comments it is clear that this is a very clever dangerous spam/scheme!

I got a call today when i tried to return the call the message said to check the number and to try again. number blocked.

Phone call received saying he was representing a company preventing scam calls against solar panels and computers etc. told me I needed a device for my house. I told him I didn’t need a device. I told him I’d speak to my husband. He told me it was urgent and I needed it without consulting my husband. I told him I would speak to my husband and call him back if we thought it was necessary. He hung up on me.

Fake caller I.D. - just another scammer.

Just recieved a call from a Sam representing a company that wanted mydetails for my call blocking service. Then proceeded to ask questions with regards to personal information. I was imediately suspicious and refused to talk to this person unless he could identify the correct name of the government call blocking service in Autstralia which he could not. I refused to give him any information and hung up.

Got this call as well.Hung up when answered and when called back could not be connected.?????
