Call from heavy accent lady who sausage was from accident compensation I couldn't hear what else she was saying and said pardon a couple of times then she hung up! Reading other comments I think she was saying someone had an accident recently. Obviously a scam

Just received a call from this number. My son answered the call, the callers response was f... you and then hung up.

I keep receiving a call from this number on my work phone. Every time I answer, they hang up. When I call the number back, as we have caller display, it comes back as an invalid number.

SCAM SCAM SCAM, Call claiming to be from Accident Compensation Department, only problem I haven't been in any accident!

I had a phone call from this number too. Same as the above "accident claims dept" I asked for what company.. He just repeated that he was from accident claims... For what company I asked again.. What company would you like me to say was his reply. Scam!!! Phone call was after 4pm 16th oct.

this number calls and calls many times it just hangs up.. like it is a software checking numbers... others I hang when they start talking, the delay and accents are a spam or scam give away

I suggest that the Police be advised of this matter as I am sure that someone will get caught by them eventually and lose outl.

I have several calls from this number with the same story as per previous posts. I hope they can do something about them.

Just had a call from this number. I said hello three times but no-one replied. I could hear a female voice in the background, but no noise like a call centre, more like a private home or office.
I tried phoning the number and got the message 'your call could not be connected, please check the number and try again' as if the number does not exist.

Same as all the above - if anyone knows how to have this resolved please let us know.

I had a call from this number at 8.30am on 1 October 2015. Despite me saying hello twice, there was no response on the other side but you could hear voices so someone was listening. I will not answer next time. I tried ringing the number back and the response was that this was an unlisted number for me to try again.

This has called our office number several times only to be hung up on. I am guessing because we are a business we cannot be scammed

Had about 30-35 calls in a space of 2 hours. Googled the number and its a reverse charge number. I answered the first 10 times, then just hung up the next few and just let the rest go un answered. they're still ringing. Telstra cant block it for me all they can do is put a trace on the number. its got to be a scam number. Its annoying trying to work with them ringing all the time. Just as well we have caller ID on our work phone, it shows the number when they ring.

The only way to deal with these calls is not answer them and to do that you need a phone witrh caller ID and then ask your provider to activate caller ID display at a small charge each month.

These people have been ringing me constantly for the last few weeks but when I answer they put the phone down with out speaking. You can not ring these people back as when you try the number comes up as unknown and will not ring.
BLOODY ANNOYING

Likewise, I missed a call from (07) 3204 5713 to my landline, tried re-dialling it to find it's disconnected. Interesting that it's a scam group behind the calls, I won't answer it / hang-up should it happen again.

I've had about 5 calls a day for the last week from this number - I don't answer and he/she does not leave a message! The number is in the Rothwell area on the Redcliffe peninsula - maybe Deception Bay!

I have received many calls from these crooks. Practically accused me of having a prang I did not know about.
