We unfortunately had a wine tasting and bought wines as a one off. My husband answered the survey and organised the tasting but since then the follow up calls have all been to me. The last call was earlier in 2014 where (I thought) I was very clear that we would not be buying any more - because we didn't want to. The salesman had an answer for everything even to the point of being quite sarcastic. Rather than be rude and tell him where to go I reiterated that we did not want any more wines and I did not want any more calls. Now all these months later another call and again the same smart responses. I said we will not be buying any more wines and he then asked why, what's happened. I thanked him for his call and said I had to go and he reluctantly hung up. If I receive another call I will be phoning the company to complain.

It's a wine company, I did a survey that I received in the mail and it's a follow up call to do wine tastings and give you the free gift for doing the survey.

I received a phone call from their representative who wanted to deliver the mugs but I had no idea what that was all about and "what mugs" , as I had not done any survey. But the guy did not turn up anyway. Some time later came this survey through the mail and I liked the mugs depicted on the letter and so I did the survey, stating that I do not drink wine or any other alcohol but liked grape juice. I am still waiting for the mugs. Pieroth Wine company presents itself as completely untrustworthy and unscrupulous, hitting on pensioners and the elderly, they should be reported.

Spot on team! Pieroth Wines http://www.pieroth.com.au/ In Brisbane (07) 3182 3713 I too answered a mail survey and told them I didn't want any gifts then out-of-the-blue MONTHS later I get a phone call to arrange a tasting and free gift (Cheeseboard) Very personable salesperson and some VERY nice wines, but at $26~$31 a bottle with minimum case lots, it just wasn't my normal wine budget.

I was scammed by this company. The wine I tasted and agreed to buy was not they wine they delivered. I have told them many times now to stop calling me but they just wait a while and start again. Don't worry about hurting the salespersons feeling, they don't have any. Their wine is crap from eastern Europe imported bulk. I strongly recommend you do not deal with this company.

Just a heads up - the $25-35 wines are in fact purchased and landed in Aus for about $3.. They target the olderly and force sales upon them - the 'Pieroth Way' as stated by a current manager
