Same as all of the comments before me. The phone, I let it go to answering machine and they hang up only to phone again 5 minutes later. Sometimes they call 6 to 8 times. I phoned back and went to an unattended extension. I tried answering but not saying anything and they hang up. Surely the telecommunications ombudsman can have something to say about unsolicited nuisance calls. I'll go down that path.

This number continues to call about cheaper phone costs, I have asked them to remove my number and got abused.

Argh. Keep getting calls from this number but when I answer they hang up. So I used my mobile phone to call them back and see if it's someone I knew. But no it directed me to some unavailable extension message. Now I know after reading these comments what they are.

They don't just call homes, they call business too. We run a small takeaway and they don't get the hint. it is a big SCAM. do not bother with these pricks.

These people are persistent - calling day or night - must have had more than 15 calls over last few weeks. I have told them its a scam - I have their number and am reporting them on online chat sites. Sometimes they hang up immediately, sometimes get angry. They are either on good retainer or desperate.

This number called our home phone 17 times today. The last call was at 7:19pm We let all the calls go to answering machine now, but I played their game to see how long I could keep them on the phone. They began with the usual spiel that we are going to receive a discounted bill, then came the questions: do you have internet on this phone line?, do you make overseas calls? Do you make mobile calls? I answered no to all the above but he persisted telling me about the great deals they were offering. Pretending i was interested, I posed the question: so how do I switch to your company? He answered; you don't need to change your provider sir, we are offering this deal to all telstra customers. That's great I replied, but I'm with Optus, that's great sir, we are offering this deal to all customers. Ok, sign me up I said. So I was asked to wait while he spoke to his manager. He came on the line, gave me the same spiel, only now the deal was for Optus customers only. I played along. When I was asked for my date of birth I said 20th July, 2019. He hung up.

How do you stop this number from calling you???? Sick and tired of it....

This number has called me at least 10 times today , how annoying!!!!I dont bother answering my phone home anymore for this reason.

Every single day 5 to 6 calls from this number very annoying....

This number keeps calling us thanks to all of you that took the time to post ,we know not to bother answering the phone when this number shows up. Greatly appreciated.

Had several phone calls from this number within the space of an hour. All hang ups with no messages left on our message bank. We have a silent telephone number that is only known by close family and am at a loss of how they obtained our number.

Unknown telephone company making offer to provide telephone service. Overseas callers. Ignore or block call - life's too short.

It is a company looking to reduce the amount of money you pay on your business telephone bill.

They are not an outsourced comapny of Optus or Telstra. They know you're a business from the phone book, and make an educated guess on the fact you have internet. They ask you to confirm the amount you pay, so they can work out a deal with you, for less.
