Called several times and hang up while answering, suspect it's scam

My number is private, only family have it and I received a telemarketing call from (07) 3177 0810. Family won't give out numbers so either OPTUS is selling numbers or they are using a demon dialer to randomly generate calls. Not happy, caller is now blocked.

Called once today. Didn't answer.

Was asked about Life Insurance... Quite strange.

Called Me & Just Hung Up.. ?

Keep calling every couple of days. Never leaves a message.

Guy called this morning claiming to be from Telstra.
Was very eager to keep me on the phone.
