Caller: Sovereign Energy

They claim to have sent a letter stating a change in energy rates. I don't know of this company (i.e. they don't exist) and I asked them where they got my number from. He stated Aus on Disc. I searched the company, and they sell a database with contact details. I have reported the number to Do Not Call register, but they said that they don't know how these people get our numbers, and that they can only deal with business that operate within the law. in short SCAMMER. Don't entertain these scum sucking bottom feeders!

Phone rang, picked up, silence then hung up, presumably the computer couldn't find a free agent. Thinking of getting portable air horn in case anyone answers!

Always hangs up when we answer with our business greeting but if we just answer with 'hello' they push you for solar...BLOCKED!!!

Love it!!! They keep ringing us too and they never give yp. I must try your method. :)

This number called and started a spiel without getting to the point straight away. I asked them why they were calling 6 times, which they ignored each time and continued on. Called me by the name of someone else that lives here, and I said that she's not here, and asked again why they were calling. He told me he doesn't talk to rude people and hung up on me. What a rude scam artist...

SPECIAL 'CIA' SPYING PROGRAM . TALKING IN BACKGROUND WORKS LIKE A 'PINGER' SCANNING YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD , (Really!!!). JUST SAY SOMETHING VERY RUDE .

Very rude and obnoxious Australian man trying to shove solar down my throat. This is the second time he has called. I hung up on the rude idiot.

They knew my name. Cold sellers. Blocked!!!

Scammer trying to sell solar panels, he makes out that you have had a quote from him in the past. I have had solar for 10 years so then he wanted to know if I still paid for electricity. It was obvious he was not legit. Seemed a bit pushy but I didn't give him a chance and I hung up on him.

Exact same description as all the comments listed here - Australian male telling you the electricity prices have gone up, gov has rebate, and if you're keen to install solar panels to save costs.

I politely declined and he hung up.

Scam I am assuming. Keeps repeatedly calling my company work phone.

When I answered my phone a voice (sounded Australian) said, "Hi is this Ms ....(my surname here)... and as soon as I said yes, they just hung up! So I immediately blocked the number... sadly they'll probably call from another but I have no reason for any number from (07) to call me so I just won't answer next time.

called trying to sell solar and was persistent at wanting to come over.

Selling solar scam, then hacks my Gmail account and changes the password. I dialed them back and it went to +46 750325658 (sweden) but had Filipino accent.

Brisbane northern suburbs, was expecting an urgent call, had a missed call, rang back and was transferred to Sovereign Home Improvements so I just hung up.

Just rang my mobile and home number at the same time WTF
