Guy with an english accent was asking me about a car accident in the last 12 months. Called me by my actual name. Asked me to confirm date of accident. I asked him help me because i cant remember. He then muttered "some people"and subsequently hung up.

received a call from this number today...no message left. After reading all of these comments associated with this number I decided to call the number back from my work phone (It shows as an unknown number)...low and behold a guy with an english accent answers and I ask who he is ...he answers with im from Follow Up services we help people out who have been in a car accident that wasn't their fault...i then asked why would they be ringing me...to which he replied 'ummm...' and hung up.

Ive never heard of Follow up services and there must be a few of them in on the scam as it sounded liked he was in a call centre.

Needless to say Im pretty sure its a scam!

Block this number - Guy with English accent called and said he is from "follow up services" wanting to talk about the car accident I reported. I laughed and hung up.

Caller: Some irish dude

Lol - they called, I picked up, they hung up I called back, they knew my name.

Asked about a recent accident I was in. They then asked me to confirm the date, I said well you know the date. He tried exceptionally hard to get me to say a date, just kept asking him questions until he said "I am sorry but I am going to have to end the call." When you get a call, mess with them a bit. It is quite funny.

Caller: John Paul

As above, guy with an English accent said his name was John Paul and he was following up on a motor accident I had in the last 12 months. I said I hadn't had an accident so he hung up.

Caller: A man

The man asked for my son name who is underage. When Asked who was him he hangs up

I answered and after a silent moment I heard heavy breathing then they hung up.

this number shows up on my phone with a comment about it being 'potential fraud' so didnt pick up. no message left by caller

Scam call for sure

Just received a call from this number on my mobile - answered but the person on the other end hung up. Weird.

Guy with an english accent was asking me about a car accident in the last 12 months. Called me by my actual name which was a bit scary considering I have no idea who these people are. I asked him where he got my number from he said "118" and when I questioned what that was he hung up? For the record, I've not had a car accident.

Just hang up and do not leave a message. I have not been in an accident either. Block them.

Said it was follow up services about a recent car accident. Question who they represented and she abused me and hung up

Persistent scammers - they refuse to delete my number and they continue harass me

Answered Call with 'Good Morning' and no one replied. Caller disconnected after 15 seconds.

just got the same call as everyone else. Told him he was an idiot and it was a scam and he called me one right back. Smart pommy who’s got a lot of attitude!!!!!!!

It was a missed call so checked here before calling back. As per previous posts - I won't be calling back. Thanks

I got a call from this number today. I answered and a lady asked to speak to Stephanie (my names not Stephanie) and I said I’m not Stephanie and she hung up.

Caller: Follow-up Services

Silence at the start alerted me that it might be a scammer. Then they asked for my child and stated our address!
They claimed she was in a car accident but would not give me details.
Evidently working a scam that failed when they realized a child was involved.
