I got call from this number claiming calling from ATO in Brisbane. I have doubt of possible scam.

I just got a call saying Aus Federal Gov wants to give me $7000 for being a good Aus citizen and paying my tax on time, asked for a number I could call back to confirm its legit, this is the number I was given to call back. have called ATO first, the will get back to me.

SAme story..ATO...$7000...$250 first... Gave Name As Ashok kumar sharma...Any one got more information...? Where can we complain about this no...?

I just received a call from this number as Australian Taxation Office saying my home number has been selected to receive $7000.She gave me a reference number as well and told me to call them back after 15 mins.He accent was Indian. I called back again, a guy picked up. Which was also indian accent.

I received the same call - once I asked who they were they became rude and hung up. Hoax is my guess.

I have just received a call from this number. They said that they are from ATO and I have been "selected" to receive $7000.

When I asked for their number, the gave me this number.

Obviously, a hoax.
