Called back and it says number disconnected

The caller phoned and asked for Mr or Mrs (correct surname). As soon as I said it was Mr. speaking, he hung up. I phoned straight back, Optus advises number discontinued..

I missed a call from this number on my mobile and when I called back using my landline,the message I heard said Optus regrets that the number I called has been disconnected. Very strange indeed
