unbelievably annoying this company! how did they get our numbers in the first place? one of them actually new my name! is there any authority we can report this to??glad i googled this number and found this site. i they must be using one of those auto-dial machines because even though i keep rejecting their calls, they'll call again 2 seconds later!

They also called me today. I kept asking who he was, what company he was from, all he told me was he is from a 'telephone company' and 'Optus reseller'.

Told him that he doesn't know what he's talking about, I still have a whole year on my contract. He said thanks and hung up.

Don't give them any info; they ask how much you spend a month, etc.

I received a call from this number. The guy had a very strong indian accent claimed that he was from Startel Communications and advised me that my contract with Optus is ending soon. Mind you I don't have a contract with Optus to start off with, so I knew this was a scam. I swore at him and then hung up.The next few days this number called me again and I didn't bother picking up.Looks like I'm gonna report them to the ACMAThis is ridiculoud, where do they get the mobile numbers from????

this guy called me also. same spiel - claiming to be from Optus reseller telling me my phone contract is ending soon - it is not.
Very evasive when I asked questions - gave his name as Rob Lee. Asked him not to call my number and hung up... now get this he calls back again. so I told him I would lodge a complaint with Optus - to which he replies "and what are they gonna do about it?"... the arrogant SOB
