Caller: Scammer?

Claimed to be from the Australian Bureau of Statistics - I didn't believe the him with his accent. Didn't wait long enough to hear his spiel.

Rings and goes straight to missed call. Blocked

Caller: Australian Bureau of Statistics (allegedly)

Person with a foreign accent rang my mobile, knew my first name. Said they were from the Australian Bureau of Statistics and asked if I would participate in a one minute survey. Asked my age group and whether I was retired or not. Seemed innocuous, but suspect it was a scam.

Scam, they hung up when I refused to answer a question

rang my mobile and when I answered call hung up immediately
