getting hang up calls from 0492 296 XXX numbers, not going to ring them back

Rang my mobile, did not leave a message

not an Australian mobile network. Did not ring. went straight to messagebank. My guess is they want me to call back. I'm not that inquisitive about dodgy phone numbers. I usually hang up on them, why would I call? Because now I want to know who it was. That is how it works. Call one million numbers and hang up before it rings and they will call back. Cost nothing for the call then.
