guessing a spruiker as have had 3 unsolicited calls within 24 hours. All from different numbers, but all more recent mobile numbers. Blocked all three.

If you want me to pick up the phone, leave a message 🤷‍♀️ I have had three calls today and with the amount of nuisance calls I think most of us get, I know I let unknown number go to MessageBank now, if it's important enough they will leave a message. Obviously not important enough!!
BTW this is a great way to be able to work out whether those nuisance Calls are actually worth picking up or not.
