Caller: "Consumer Research Australia" in North Sydney

Wanted my email address or mobile number so that I could be a "paid service reviewer" for supermarkets, etc. When I explained that I was on a "do not call" list she (indian accent) said that she obtained my number from the "NSW Registry of Information". The whole thing sounded bogus and was just an attempt to create a list of email addresses and mobile phone numbers for use by spammers.
