A woman called me from that number and new my name. As soon as I answered "YES" she hung up.
Called straight right back and the number was disconnected
Might be a scam where they need to record your voice saying "yes" and use it to access any of your accounts where you would have use voice recognition.

it seems there is a new scam going on where they only want to have you say "yes". Like:
- Hey is that Tony?
- Yes, speaking.
and bang they hang up.
They record your voice saying yes and try to use it to access any account you might have set up with voice recognition.
Not sure how much of that is true but I heard it on the Radio. And today that number rang and hang up on me right after I said yes.

Have called 5 times this week but hang up everytime

they told me someone I know was in a car accident. It is the 5th time I have had a call about this. I couldn't understand them very well so I thought that one of my family members had had an accident, freaked me out!
Now I just hang up

I have been receiving phone calls from this number for the last 3 months, just looking at my phone log, I tried to ring them back today cause I don't really return calls that read "private number" cause to me that's a clear sign they don't want you to know who they are, I received the same message " this phone is not in service, blah blah, I will now block their calls, thanks for all the comments

Just had a call from this number. Seems I got the same spiel as others on this list. The woman said I had entered a competition last year and I had won two Android tablets. She said she was from 'Lifestyle' something which I didn't catch the rest. She asked me about the mortgage and the tablets will be sent to my address. She mentioned something about financial packages. Told her I wasn't interested and she hung up straight away.

Apparently I filled in an online survey too and won an android. Just needed to give them my home address so they can drop it off in person and discuss savings opportunities. I cant wait to watch them rock up to the vacant block up the road.

called and said I filled up a survye few monthes ago, and siad I won a tablet, that they will need my address and hand the table to me...I said I don't think I had done the survey, and I am not interested, ..and he just keep talking, and ask me why I am not interested in paying up my home loan half the time...etc.. BLOCK the nubmer

Claimed I'd filled an online survey, I'd won a $100 Woolworth's gift card. Just had to attend a dinner at Dharruk Tradies club and listen to a seminar that went about 30-40 minutes. Asked details about renting or mortgage and my partner's name. Needed an address and email address to send details to. Wealth product flogging scammers based on above comments

Call daily n say won stuff but got to attend seminars etc to get it like WTF when I call back I'm told the numbers not in service
