Keeps ringing, will not be answering it, but it’s still a waste of my time going to the phone!

After following some of the comments on this thread I facebook messaged MyCino asking them whether the number belonged to them, and they told me it didn’t. They call from a main landline number which is listed on their website. I think it’s just a random telemarketer from overseas, they left me a voicemail yesterday in a foreign language and it also sounded as though it was coming from a call centre.

Ditto to all of the above. Infuriating when you drop everything to answer and they just hang up. What pleasure do these sickos get out of this.

I've been messing around and I found that when you receive the call it the trunk information is from like AT&T or version. Most likely it's spoofed because when you call it's dead or the line has been unplugged from the auto dialer. I think you can do this by bridging the call over google from a computer running asterisk. So that means there is a way to trace it back. Even in the ways of spoofing caller ID, the full trunk information from the carrier should show who called that number repeatedly. The way to find out who would just find out what american telecom carrier owns that number and social engineer them into giving you the drop info. Tip, Weave out all Australian numbers, mostly likely a lot of people here would of called the number back. I'll try to do the best I can to figure out more. -Anon at www.phonelosers.org

I have had the same problem with these a**holes, so I have spoken to a lawyer which happens to be my best friend and had the number blocked from my phone and looking at legal action as I've been in Hospital for 3 weeks post surgery and the calls were interrupting my recovery. This will end very soon!!!
