Caller: Presumed scammer

Received a message reading: 'Hi mum, this is my new phone number my old phone has broken down, You can message me on this number on whatsapp or sms.'

I am not Mum to anyone and my son would not leave a message such as this unsigned.

Watch out, everyone!

Hi mum, Ive smashed my phone so im using a spare phone now. Can you save this number and text me through whatsapp when you see this please?

Got a "Hi Mum, I've smashed my phone so I'm using a spare phone now. Can you save this number and text me through whatsapp when you see this please?" Knew it was a scam straight away as I don't have kids!!!!

Definitely scammer - I received the "Hi mum I've smashed my phone so I'm using a spare" SMS
Do not respond, if only there was something more we could do
