This is a company called connected telecom. They provide reasonable Broadband services. They have a good package and got my current service provider to match the package that they offered me.

Telemarketers. Just block or they will continually annoy

These guys are the WORST, they always manage to call when I am waiting to hear from the hospital about my cancer treatment or results!!!! I only just realised I could block them, I know, behind the times. But I just wanted to add my anger at them. Humpf!

also had a call from this number 0488 805 661 twice and the lady had an indian accent with a background noise .

Just got a call and the accented person asked for Greg ...... wrong first name right surname, very noisy in background. When I said that there was no Greg here they hung up... Blocking number

If you recently visited carsales website or other online sites such as Airtasker, they might have got your number from there appearing to be legit buyers or sellers. Once they get your name and number (may be address too), they break the deal and disappear. The following days you will receive unsolicited mails from people of Indian accent. Simply put, your details have been sold to those "Telemarketers" aka fraudulent operators. You might be exposed to other sinister crimes as well - just beware!

Very noisy in the background and the woman took ages to answer me when I said "hello" - just hung up. Had a few calls.

Called whilst I was driving(handsfree). I told them that I was driving and couldn't take the call. They said they would me the next day and I said no thank you. They did try calling again. I did not answer. Where are they getting my information from?

This number called me this morning - I didn't answer. Then again 1pm - I answered to a male (India sounding) laughing into the phone the hung up. Creepy!

Jemma the do not call register is only good for calls from within Australia, also registered charities are exempt.

I just got my fourth call in two weeks from this number, I have now blocked it but before I did I called it back - she just answered with "hello" if this were a legitimate company they would answer with the name etc. SCAM!!!

Called, didn't leave a message - a very good candidate to add to blocked list!

Accented guy from some Tele Connect company (it was a bad line with background noise which makes me think he was from overseas) called my mobile and said my address (which he somehow knew) had been selected for a discount on my home and internet... I made up some excuse and hung up.

Received this unsolicited call from Telecom Connect, strangely they called me by name and via my mobile, they asked about my internet, land line and mobile (the lady I spoke with, spoke really fast with a strong Indian accent).
When she asked about my mobile she said "if you have one" strange considering that's how they called me, she then transferred me to the line manager (she basically just handed him the phone as I could hear a lot of noise in the background and what she was saying to him as she handed him the phone) he asked me that same questions that she had and then he did his "we can save you money" before telling about a deal that would cost more than my current one.
He mentioned that if I had any issues that I would be speaking with someone in an Australian call centre (something I doubt considering all the Indian voices I heard).
We kinda argued about when the NBN was coming to Cranbourne (I have been told that it will be late October he said November) I told him that I will be speaking with my provider about it then, he replied can we call you to see if we have a deal that's better, I replied "no thank you, I'm happy with who I am currently with as I have a bundle deal with them for almost everything" he thanked me for my time and hung up.
They weren't overly rude, but the call was unsolicited and I had no idea who they were, a Google search came up with: www.telecomconnect.com.au/
