This is the latest in an endless series of calls from numbers prefixed 0485 977 .... which I have been receiving for at least 2 weeks. I block the number each time, but the mob concerned have an endless supply of alternative numbers.
It appears from searches of other similarly prefixed numbers that it the Wine Group yet again.

Over the last 3 days I have received calls from (03) 9121 6342, (03) 9121 6368, (03) 9121 6397, (03) 9121 9195, (03) 9121 4717 & (03) 9121 0973. All earlier calls have been deleted before I decided to do this compilation.

It is clear that the telcos could easily detect and deal with such an abuse of the system. I view their disregard for it as complicity since they profit from providing all these extra numbers. They have to be forced by legislation to do something.

Caller: The Wine Consierge

The wine consierge again. He calls every week. I must have spoken to this guy half a dozen times (he often uses a different name of Tom, James or Matt) and yet he says he does not remember me declining his previous offers. Maybe this is AI and he is a state of the art robot.

Caller: I think he was from a wine club

Cold caller, wanting to sell bulk wine by the carton.

Caller: The wine club

Wine salesman ringing again but from a different number.

Caller: Wine concierge club

Tom from wine club. They call on multiple ph numbers beginning with 0485 977. I have asked many times to be taken off call list but they don’t listen

Caller: Pesky caller wine retailer

Wine club guy. I told him I'm not interested.
