Someone called claiming to be from a security company and alleging that my Visa card had been hacked into and the hacker had taken out $10K from my account.

He was keen for me to log into my account 'on my phone or laptop' and check it. The conversation had a bad smell to it, but I chose to play along, using my desktop PC. There were no suspect withdrawals. As my anger started to rise, he sought to confirm if the acct was with ANZ at which point I replied 'incorrect' and hung up.
