Caller: It was a text

Sent me a text with the following content -
Hi Dad, I've got a new phone and number. You can delete my old one.X
When I asked which child they responded -
Prettiest and funniest one :-) Oldest x
I asked them to confirm their name and I got no response.
I checked with my children and none had sent the message.
