13/01/17: Apparently I was involved in a motor accident in the last 2 years?! That's weird coz I don't remember it happening. Either this txt was sent by mistake or a scam. www.qu1.in is the website that was attatched to the message.

Scam SMS reported for a number of other numbers in the same prefix range: "Records indicate you were involved in a motor accident in the last 2years. As such you may now claim compensation. Replay CLAIM for info or STOP. from www.qu1.in"
I haven't been in an accident.
www.qu1.in, according to their website, do text message marketing. They claim "Everyone who receives a message will have agreed to receive a message online or over the telephone." which is false in my case. They also claim "We only work with Australian based companies all of whom will gladly give over all of their contact details so that you can check them out online or check reviews." which is dubious. The website claims they are UK based, but this seems unlikely with the Indian website, and their staff listed on the site do not line up with any LinkedIn entries. Basically a fake website for scammers. I did not respond or file a complaint, I suspect that would be only giving the scammers more information to target me.
