Caller, who knew my name, offered to investigate compensation for a recent motor vehicle accident which I didn't have!

Called on behalf of Claims advisory group in Sydney .. Attached to a overseas scam some how ..

rang saying he was from Claims Advisory Service (call centre in background), he tried to verify identity, when unsuccessful, he said 'this number has been involved in an accident, and you may be entitled to money', i said: 'are you recording this?', he said 'yes'... i said: 'for and on the record you are soliciting for business under false pretenses, you do not have permission to call this number, any future calls will be considered injury and i will pursue damages, you do not have permission to record me either' 'oh sorry maam, i'll remove this number from our database'... Idiot used his own mobile, probably cos people dont answer 'No Caller ids' anymore
