SPAM & SCAN!

Just called me; I didn’t answer, but decided to research the number, and see 8 scam posts above! Number has now been blocked!!!

Caller: Older sounding Aussie lady

Trying to scam money for advertising in neighbourhood watch magazines.

Called talking about a big campaign they have coming up. I mentioned I was quite busy and he hung up

Caller: Steven and couldn't figure out where he called from

He asked me if I was in charge of my business name and then responded yes, asked if he's caught me at a bad time and I said, no its ok and then he hung up.

I tried calling the number back and went to voicemail

Caller: Scam

They convinced me to give them $385 for an advertisement in their neighbourhood watch news letter. I verbally agreed but When I searched their number it came up with 95% scam rating. They continue to bill me yet they have never received my business logo. Scammers!! Be careful !!

Caller: Someone from Police Neighbourhood Watch

Same thing: asked me about my business and if I wanted to “get behind” a campaign next year.
When they asked me what my name was after they had called me, I lost confidence.

Some guy called Steven from "Police Neighbourhood Watch" called to ask me questions about my business. When I quizzed him further, he hung up on me.

Telemarketer

I called back the number 0478 285 747 and reached vm that did not mention the company name
