Just got a call from this number, the guy said his name was Daniel and he was calling from optus. He asked if I was on prepaid I said no then he said okay contract thanks bye and hung up straight away.

Glad I just googled this number just received a missed call from them 5 min ago now I know not to answer

Just has a call from this number - the second call in 2 days, same story as everyone else, a random from an Indoan Call centre claiming to call on behalf of optus who wanted to put me on a a plana nd give me a new handset. They started asking questions to which I said they would alsready know the answer to and was spoken over by the person on the other end who started getting aggresive. I hung up and blocked the number - dirty scammers.

Got a call from this number 20 Sep 2013. A dude with a heavy Indian accent told that my pre-paid mobile number has been selected as the lucky winner of a new smartphone. After quizzing him for a while I discovered that it is just a ploy to get me off pre-paid and on to an Optus plan instead. Told him I like pre-paid because it is easier to control what I spend on mobile charges and not changing.

Yeah. Got their call. Couldn't understand them but they said they were Optus. Told them to f#off anyway. The idiot female rang back so I told her again just in case she didn't understand me the first time!

Got a call from this number as well, informing me that i won a new lg tablet for being a long term customer. too many voices in the background, he couldn't hear me and got the details wrong so i had some fun, now i have a call coming tomorrow from their head office. ill be waiting, Ive reported the number and call to Optus and when i have the next number ill do the same after recording the call.

This man (indian in call centre) called my husband's mobile asking for me. he then told my husband that he is my new boyfriend!!! My husband new that this was some sort of scam and hung up.

I too also just received a call from this number. I only gave my name and recharge amount per month but declined the offer as I am returning to work where I get a work phone. Wish I had Googled the number whilst on the phone to him! Bastards!

Got calls from this number today. Recorded half the conversation. He told me the same as everyone else, wouldnt give me a company name either, just an 'optus wholesaller'
He then proceeded to abuse me and say dirogritary things such as calling me a bitch & that he was going to come over and 'stick his cock in my pussy' ect.
Have contacted police about this issue.

Just got a call from this number saying that because I was a Good Optus customer I had been chosen for a Free LG smart phone. The "Indian" sounding man then started to ask me to confirm my phone number again and ask how much I spend a month, When I challenged him that that was information he should know if he was in fact from Optus he then clutched at straws guessing an amount and when I said that I didn't believe he was from Optus he told me "to F%#k off you dirty Mother F%#Ker and hung up! Guess I dont get a phone then :-)

Just got a call from this number. Initially I thought it was optus (clearly an overseas call center) but he began asking me questions he should have had access to - i.e whether my contract was coming to an end. Also, unlike other calls from optus, I was not asked to verify my details. Very suspect.

also had a call from this number claiming to be from telcom and requesting info. became defensive when i asked who it was calling.

told me some out of date info concerning my account and promised a new smart phone if i signed up this is when i told his i had already signed up
