I recently received a call - first one was from a private number. Answered it and it was someone trying to sell me an Optus pre-paid phone. Sounded dodgy so I hung up, Within seconds I get a second call from this number, same person, and without going into details, after I refused their offer I got bombarded with all sorts of verbal abuse along the lines of what they were going to do to me and everyone else in my house. Was a little scary to be honest. Idiots like this need to be stopped. I feel for those that don't know any better and get sucked in!

Had a lady call me from this number last night. Said that she was from optus and would offer me a really good deal. I actually work for optus and new it was rubbish. She didn't even know what sort of deal I was already on.

I just got a call from this numb.. thought it was suss.. I havent answered.. now im glad I didnt..

Just happend to me about 1/2 an hour ago, same as kon k. Saying they were from optus trying to get me on a new deal and when i told him i was quite happy with what i have he called me an idiot for wasting my money so i fired right up asked for the manager he said he'l call me a mother f****r in front of him then preceeded to tell me to stick my phone up my arse and called me a mother f****r a few times and he was going to f**k me in the arse! I rang optus and filed a complaint... They said they will be investigating this and they are taking it as a serious matter and were going to let me know the outcome. They also said that its def not an optus reprisentitive and that is it fake and that they dont even have the plan now the phone he was trying to sell me

This idiot just rang me from this number. I said I am not interested and he hung up. I blocked the number after that :)

They called me just now, three times. I answered the first time, and tried to understand what was going on but I couldn't. Hung up on the woman and googled the number, arriving here.

Called me today... Very aggressive person on the other line pretending to be from Optus and wanted me to get a deal with 'Optus' with an iPhone 5 although I'm already with them and have that...

have had the same experience - got very aggressive & continued to call back twice & abuse

I said no to the offer, he said I did not understand. I hung up, he rung back still saying I did not understand, I said no thank you three times and hung up again because he kept talking.

rung yesterday night on my mobile. called himself Rob. said i was selected to receive a new samsung galaxy mobile phone totally "free". even though i'm perfectly happy with my prepaid service he apparently wanted me to join a plan and became annoyed with my answer to his question of what do i use a mobile for since i spend $30 a year on it which was to receive calls from wonderful people like him. his retort of what i can do with my mobile phone is to pick it up and stick it up my a@@ is totally unsatisfactory. If anyone has had previous experience like this and knows the appropriate avenue for complaint i would be much obliged.
