Got suspicious with western union to China email......

Just been scammed too. Name being used was Scarlett Alexander wanting to have a camper trailer shipped from Adelaide to Darwin!!!

I got the same scam on my phone claims to seen my ads on Locanto which I am selling items. Wants me to send email only which I did Then I got a message like the one.

I automatically got suspicious as the items I am selling a bulky items and cannot be sent through the post. was going to reply but not give any details glad I checked first on google.

Thiis scam is still going around, I got this after I posted an add to sell my car, My family said that it looked like a scam and after googling the New Zealand Oil and Gas Taranaki Basis Kupe project I found out that there has been many others that have had the same scam put to them. Be careful.

I'm buying this for my daughter as a birthday gift. She lives in Darwin presently so is going to be shipped to Darwin after have sorted out with the payment, I want to be sure if it is still in good condition. Lesson learnt Google people before responding

Received the same message. Lucky I googled the number before I went ahead with sale. Reply to my email was very weird and suspicious.

I got almost exactly same message when I poseted up an ad to sell couches on gumtree. Be careful

My mum recieved a text for her caravan, text wanted email to be sent to a personal email only (wendym3231 @ gmail.com) as mum dont have access to email & only basic to SMS Text, when she called me I to ask about the SMS, I emailed back to wendy to say to Call Janita & received this

Sent a reply to that email and received a email from a 'Wendy Moore' (wendym3231 @gmail.com):

WATCH OUT FOR THIS SCAM:

From this number I got a text saying:
"Is your vehicle still for sale?what is the lowest price and condition of it,get back to me through my email address (seangalbraithaus @ gmail.com)"

I emailed back advising the condition of my car and the price and I received an email stating:
