They called, an indian bloke picked up. He claimed to work for my internet provider and I instantly knew it was a scam. So because i get calls like this so often, I act weird when I answer. They called whilst i was eating so I chewed loudly into the speaker and hung up. They called back instantly saying "you mother f*cker!" So my wife shouted "GO F*CK YOURSELF YOU PRICK" in the speaker. He hung up and never bothered us again

Getting cold calls...didn't answer we know they are scammers. Jeez I need to dump our landline. Inda a whole new middle class of scammers.

These Indian callers have called 3-4 times a day the last 3 days claiming to be from Telstra. Wish I had a block function on Uniden DECT.

I was lucky & did not answer but got the number from my call log.

Fake Telstra call re internet as others have reported. They hang up quickly when told no internet connected.

Iweve has 8 calls from this number today alone and at least one every day. Claiming our modem is doing something or other. I said to a woman who rang that I’d put the phone number on social media and then received a call from an irate man threatening to put our phone number on social media and say we are sex workers.

Three calls today. Claim to be from Telstra, have been monitoring my Internet and claim there are faults with my service. As soon as I tell them I spoke to Telstra two days ago (true) and tell them that Telstra don't do this, I find myself mysteriously cut off. I've barred calls from this number.

Scam call. Claims to be Telstra support and that there is a problem with the internet.

I have had this call 4 times in 24 hours... what a pain. They claim to be Telstra and are calling in regard to the internet. Also have had the same call that has no caller id but shows as private number. So over it!

Called me again today. He must have forgotten that he was trying to scam Australians as he started speaking Hindi when I answered. When he realised, he hung up on me.

They have called 3 times - saying they're from Telstra and that my internet will be disconnected in 2 days time. I don't have Telstra internet so no problem. Stop calling me.

They say they are from Telstra and the have found errors on my modem. When I asked them if this scam ever works, the woman gets upset and hangs up.

Indian accent people calling from Telstra Technical centre .. yeah sure you are.
Same deal .. going to cut your internet connection due to "wirus issues"

Same again about internet hackers got very excited and eventually to me to 'Shut up your mouth and listen' probably not Telstra

said she was from telstra, told me my internet will be terminated in 2 hrs, for 4 weeks. I asked "how is the weather in Mumbai", she hung up

Same story. It is so patently dodgy.
