caller from this number claimed from Mirosoft. Asked why are you using Frank's account. Said i didn't know what she was talking about. She said to me 'shame on you' & hung up. tried to call her back & number was apparently not connected so they are using false id number to seem legitimate. Definitely scam here

Scam computer call; told her to get off the line and called her a fraudster.

The number (an Australian mobile) is likely to be false.

The twist to this is that I am not in Australia but in London. Looks like the fraudsters are trying their luck in the UK.

My husband received call today but they hung up straight away. Maybe they pannicked when he said detective clousseau speaking! You can always tell it's an overseas scammer on the line by the delay

Microsoft scammers still hard at it in 2017. I like to play with them, "Start button, what start button"? After 10 minutes tell them you have Linux. Or, thank heavens you called, I suspected something like this was happening. I have several machines, what is the exact IP address of the infected machine? :)

yet another hang up - I wish these guys would get a life and just (censored)
trouble is its mainly Telstra that sells the numbers they call from to overseas exchanges to use in Australia

all numbers calling me will be logged and reported to the ACCC plus ACORN and ASIO
for further investigation in who sold the numbers in the first place

This indian scum scammer rang to try and access my computer saying he was from windows?? When i told him he was nothing but a scumbag scammer he threatened to kill me and my family and do obscene things to my mother. I told him he would have to dig her up and f@#k her rotten as she was dead and buried. After i told him the AFP were tracking this number, he quickly hung up. Report all scammers to ACORN. https://report.acorn.gov.au/
