These 0458 702 000 or ending in 001 ect. are from Telstra and are computer generated. They also will send voice messages with no actual message just background noise. Why I don't know? And Telstra don't seem to give a legitimate explanation as in to why either. Best thing just delete don't click on any links as you will waste money calling a computer whom obviously can't answer you. It's bloody annoying I need my mobile. I am partially disabled with a faulty lung so I can't turn it off in case I need help. I'm sure there are people like myself or a lot worse in the same situation. Sometimes technology is a great and wonderful thing but until they know how it all works and how to access and fix these things with these problems don't have them up and running.

Mr, your computer repair is logged with service express. Do you need us to back up you data. Reply yes and we will contact you. Backup charges apply. How can one phone number be used by so many different companies, clearly dodgy.

Your DOT (digital office technology) equipment must be picked up from your local post office. Delivery to your address was unsuccessful. For help call 1800 304.
Did not have complete 1800 number. Did not specify which post office in message. No reference number.
Is a scam.

yes this number 0458 702 000 and variant ending in 001 looks like a scam. Getting SMS asking someone to notify them of their new address. This is freaky. They probably have the person's name and mobile. Now they are using this tactic to get the person's address. This is really really bad.

Thanks for choosing Telstra. To avoid $2 fee please confirm your billing email details. Reply now with your email address or click telstra.com/emailbill
Turns out it was a legit text, and Telstra didn't send anything to my bigpond email to confirm the email address. I cancelled my other email and I had updated my email details with bigpond ages ago! Telstra and their systems suck!

Also received the text message yesterday 16/06 Thanks for choosing Telstra. To avoid $2 fee please confirm your billing email details. Reply now with your email address or click telstra.com/emailbill
I chose not to reply or to click on the link because it sounded suss, and I was busy. Waiting on hold with Telstra to confirm all ok with my account. Should be fine since they sent me my last bill by email. If it's not then their system is crap!
