I received a scammy sounding text from a this number with this message:

"Hi mum ive smashed my phone. Can you whatsapp me heres my new number 0485 863 470 x, it is urgent"

They text from different numbers too - I searched "0485 863 470" and a similar complaint came up from another person

Text message saying they were my child to add them on a different number on what’s app

Caller: The "Mum I've smashed my phone scam"

Gave the new contact number as 0482 097 287 so folks, block both numbers.

Be very wary of this number. Spam email saying 'Hi mum i've smashed my phone. Can you whatsapp me here my new number...
