This is a scammer who lists Campervans for around half their real value and says it is on the other side of the country in a storage he will have them deliver the campervan to you and if you are not happy he will credit you back. Problem is there is no campervan amd your money has gone.

Just thought I should add that this guy would appear to be trying to sell tractors in a scam as well - he has relocated to sunny Thailand...

"I have moved to Bangkok to join my Thai wife and kid, that s the only reason I'm selling my tractor. I'm done with farming mate.I have my tractor stored in Geraldton, W.A. with a shipping company, they will also handle the delivery to your address and payment as they offer protection for both of us. To start the shipping to your address, they require a deposit, not the full amount and not payable to me, until you'll receive and inspect my tractor. The shipping Australia wide was payed by me."

I haven't lost any money but was suspect of this rubbish and decided to do a search and found this thread online about "Jason." So brazen. Thought I might save someone else if they do a search if they are worried about this turkey. He goes by Jason Davidson in the tractor scam and his email is jason445 @ tpg.com.au

Please beware.

I replied to the ad for a Mustang boat. Got the same story, in storage in WA, perfect condition, will pass any test, desperate for money due to Covid, moved to Thailand etc.
Unfortunately for "Andrew" he got his story mixed up and was talking about a Haines boat....it must be hard to keep up with so many scams running!!

Same deal. Andrew (andrew855 @ tpg.com.au) appears to have been scamming from around 2016 - same line but sometimes changes goods. This was his most recent scam involving a Sunliner:

I have moved to Bangkok to join my Thai wife and kids, that's the only reason I'm selling my RV. I have it stored in Geraldton, W.A. with a shipping company, they will also handle the delivery to your address and payment as they offer protection for both of us. They just require a deposit, not payable to me, until you'll receive and inspect my beautiful Sunliner. The shipping Australia wide was payed by me.
I am convinced that my Motorhome will pass all your tests, but if by any reason you will not be satisfied, you'll get refunded in full and they will have the RV picked up at my own expense. So, you'll have custody of the Motorhome for 5 days before committing to buy it, obviously the deposit will not be a payment in advance.
The Sunliner will be delivered with clear title, service records and the bill of sale signed by me. This is their standard procedure and it is more than fair for both of us, please contact the shipping company for any other questions

Sounds exactly like the tractor sale in 2016. Beware - sounded too good to be true

Thank god for this site!!! My sister in law saw this and was so excited and did say, sounds too good to be true. So... I googled him and the Motorhome and site. Very grateful she didn't go through with it.

I nearly got done by Andrew and his " beautiful " motorhome. The whole thing was suspicious. But the alarm bells started to ring when the shipping company's phone number didn't work. Send an email and still no reply. Then few emails from Andrew from Thailand of course, with instructions on how to proceed with depositing 50% of the value. I am so glad I found those comments and stopped.
Thank you everyone!

Same story as the rest...motorhome $39,900 in storage in WA, transport will be arranged etc...bottom line if the price is too good to be true it is.... lucky l was able to edge him on until he made a mistake. I accidentially misspelt my name Chris in one of the emails l put Chri...the automated email came back with the same name. This time he used Andrew Thomson......thanks for this site

Does anyone know if there is a Government Agency you can contact about this. A friend's Dad who is old school has lost money to this man and never received the vehicle. He has it in the hands of a solicitor, but if anyone has any suggestions I would love to pass them on.

He's still at it with a tractor this time. I'm doing as much as I can to waste his time and get as much info as I can but the relevant Government agencies still refuse to do anything at all. "You haven't lost any money". Very frustrating!! It's like a group of men in a bank with weapons but won't be arrested as 'They haven robbed a bank yet"

Now its a boat - price around 60% of real value - again he's gone to thailand and needs cash desperately - SLD shipping and boat stored in Geraldton. i thought why would you advertise a boat from WA in SE Qld?? would walk out the door in Geraldton at that price. No you cant physically inspect - pay balance if you are happy if not it will be shipped back. not making sense when shipping is anything from $2500 up.Pulled out and he didnt get any of my money - clever elaborate scam.

Jason almost got away with ripping off my uncle $11000. Luckily I caught on as it sounded to good to be true. He was selling his 2015 Toyota landcruiser with 56k kms for only $22k as he moved to Thailand and his business went down due to COVID pandemic. Was using SLD deliveries to ship it from Geraldton W.A to him. Even though rego was Qld. He even sent passport photo and rego papers! Just wanted 50% deposit ASAP as he had someone in Perth wanting it lol. Oh I hope David gets karma

Again he was trying to sell me a Motorhome, i checked the transport site loked legit, but the phone number never answered. also did the queensland rego check again this checked out to the van.
same story about being in Thailand with his family.
This is very convincing the only thing that made me look into it more was the transport company phone never answers and is now disconnected.
He is going by the name Andrew Thompson this time.
Very elaborate scam be aware.

He calls himself Andrew and, yes, trying to sell a 2014 Sunliner MotorHome that is supposedly in storage in Geraldton......same as above.
I even went so far as to get a Gov PPSR report on the vehicle using the number plate on the vehicle in the photo, it came back all good!
This bloke is nothing but a dirty rotten scammer. Please beware.......if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is!
