Got a call from this number. Noone there when I answered. There was no background noises. Most likely a nuisance call.

Just a call from this number and he said his name was Hunter from the Affinity Investment Group and I'd won a competition for a Tablet. He just said I had to answer some questions. He then read out my surname and got me to confirm, then my age bracket and home ownership status. I stopped him and said I felt really uncomfortable answering the questions and I didn't remember entering any competition. He then said, that's fine he'll move on to the next winner. He then hung up. It was really weird. I'm not entirely sure if it was a scam or not but it felt like one!

Woman who called said I had won a Android tablet. She asked if I remembered entering a home owners competition or filling out a questionnaire. When I said no I don't think I had, she asked would I be interested i attending a seminar...I hung up at this point.

Said I had entered a comp to win an iphone !!!!!!!!!!!

it is all a scam. so much for no call register. it is a joke. what are they realy doing to stop this???

- Said I had won a competition
- said I had a tablet
- confirmed name
- asked if I was renting or a home owner
- asked me if I was interested in an event at for first home buyers grants
- hanged up when I mentioned I was renting (I'm not)

Such a scam call or even a dodgy business trying to confirm emails, names and numbers so they can sell the contacts on.

Got a call from this Aussie guy asking for a Brett. I told them I wasn't him and asked who they were. He refused to identify who he was and said he'd update his details.
Whenever anyone declines or ignores requests to identify themselves. Be very suspicious.

I got a phone call from this number . Gentleman.said I had entered a competition to win a tablet. However he (Michael) with an Australian accent said he had to ask some questions to see if I qualified for Aust Govt first home owner grant. Was I renting ?. I said No and No I hadnt entered a competition. He was polite and ended the call .

Got a call saying I'd entered a competition... Told them I hadn't and they got defensive. Asked them again who they were calling for and they said again but not clearly (total English speaking voice). Said I wasn't interested and they tried the guilt trip "ok we will draw next winner"... Still don't know whether true or not but don't care either. When I advised I would pass the number to the cops they said that was totally fine... Hmmmm...
