Several SMS messages re deliveries from this number over recent weeks. Some say item left in safe place. Haven't ordered anything and not expecting packages to be delivered. I'm suspicious of this number and don't trust.

StarTrack notifying me about a parcel being shipped. Safe.

I received this message that said I had an OPTUS delivery and they left the order at my delivery address. I do have an OPTUS order but it is for transferring my internet to a new address which should not have any physical stuff to be delivered. The order number they provided is correct. The message also included a link said Optus.com.au/welcome which is also the genuine Optus website. I'm really confused.

I have received a message saying StarTrack where going to deliver a parcel. I am not that stupid why can’t these phone numbers be blocked from all out going messages and calls. They are a load of low life con artists

Message for my parcel via Star Track. Looks like this number is used by a Star Track Courier but did not deliver my parcel. But reading all comments here, this mobile phone is being used by someone who is both a real courier and a scammer.

Scammer? No Optus ordered by me. Perhaps Optus can do something about scammers using their name.

SCAM the organisation will send sms telling you that your bank account has been accessed and asking you to click on a link.

Send you text messages telling you have a delivery and asking you to click on a link.

Telephoning you repeatedly and not leaving messages.

I thought this was another weekly scam BUT it was a real delivery from Star Track left at the post office.
Only problem is if you try call the number back it says it’s a disconnected Optus number.

Received a message stating my optus order. However I did not open the URL as suspected a scam and its a scam. Optus always contact me directly. Do not open urls sent by this number.

This bugbear in 2022 is still around. claims to be an optus delivery by Startrack. This is the 3rd such message since 2019 and I'm yet to receive anything from Optus, thus clearly a scam. Do not click on link. On a side note, think it's time now national carriers act far more pro-actively stamping this curse out.

I suspect that this is a scam as my parcel has already arrived a few days ago.

These guys scammed me saying they were Telstra. I got sucked in. The end result is that they ordered iPhones using my account and delivered to somewhere in NSW. I have been on the phone to telstra for 3 days now trying to safeguard my account by changing login details etc. Let’s hope they are finally blocked and there isn’t a third phone on the way to somewhere tomorrow.

Kept recieving text messages with link saying parcel was on its way.Thought it was scam as hadn’t ordered anything but then typed parcel number into Trak Star website and it turned out to be genuine , coming from NSW. I have a birthday coming up and my friend in NSW usually sends my something so I assume that what it is

Received a text to say my parcel (number quoted) from Telstra was on it's way. Was sent to my mobile but addressed to my sister?? Then received another text to say the parcel had been delivered to my address. It hadn't. I haven't ordered anything from Telstra, but my sister had. She also lives 2000km away from me.

Received text msg that said "your parcel ##### has been picked up expected delivery with tomorrow's date, tracking at then start rack website." I have not order anything so I have no intention of chasing it up.
